What DAW are you using? Cubase/Nuendo has a position/velocity varying tool built in and Sonar has Cal scripts that can do it.

That being said, I "humanize" my midi drums by hand as I don't like the results with the Nuendo functionality.

you gotta program the cubase midi thing and you can work things around , but by hand is better

Same here, I use the logical editor in cubase but then go through the part again by hand.
