ICHI THE KILLER is a hysterical comedy where blood flows like a river, and if you survive to the end without leaving the theatre, then you can say you've really seen everything that screen violence has to offer! When his Yakuza crime boss disappears, Kakihara, a brutal torture artist with a gaping joker-esque scar extending his mouth, attempts to find the kidnaper though his usual S&M means. Then he learns of an unstoppable assassin, Ichi, who wears an ass-kicking body suit and is a master of kung fu and razor blades. But Ichi is emotionally conflicted, a hypnotized murderer who cannot control his own actions and is torn between sexual violence and confused innocence.
