Lp's I'm after...help me!

Hey again!

Got a massive repsonse on the last blog, and lots of suggestions where to find the Freddy Lindquist ”Menu” Lp. Yet I forgot to mention I’m only after the original 1st pressing, not Cd’s, counterfeits or reissued vinyl. Yes I’m anal like that….!

Anyways, got me thinking…why don’t I list all the albums I’m after??? Maybe you’d stumble upon something by “accident” that I’d be interested in?

Basically I’ve been a record collection for years and despite my travels around the globe there’s still a bunch of records that I haven’t found. And on top of that I never have enough spare time to wander round the record shops these days. Oh, and there aren’t many of them around either any more for that matter.

I’m not looking for gifts, I will pay good money for some of these records and I insist on paying for these should you find them, OK? No gifts please!! Just to get that outta the way…

Obviously if you help me out I’ll treat you to tickets and backstage passes when Opeth comes to a city near you…no problemo!

Secondly, again, I’m only looking for original 1st pressings, no CD’s, reissues or anything like that. I will list the Lp’s divided into countries where the bands were from, so that it might be easier to track down domestic artists if you live in the specific country…who knows?

Email me here if you find something or got questions. Also, the better the condition, the better the dough I’ll cough up for ‘em.

And, thanks in advance, help an ol’ music junkie out will ya???

The list will be divided into sections of:

1: Artist, 2: Title, 3: Label & year of release
(s/t means “same title”, or “self titled”)

If the listing is in bold letters it means this is a super trouper Lp that I'm fucking beyond interested in finding.

Gandalf the grey – The grey wizard am I – Grey wizard ‘72

Great album! :kickass:

Don't have it on vinyl though. Also, why are none of the listings in bold? Does that mean you're not fucking beyond interested in finding any of these?

Only album I know something of is the original LP release of Elonkorjuu - Harvest Time. It is very expensive, 500-1000€... You should be able to find it from someone with some effort I guess, but it doesn't come cheap!

That Leafhound album friggin rules! Actually, a bunch of these do. I don't have any though... :(

From the number he gave recently of unlistened LPs he had, seems like he could just listen to all of those for the next two or three years and be set. I don't know why some people insist on obtaining like an album a day, I'd never love anything if I was spread that thin.

Same. I need time to enjoy an album.

anyone lucky enough to have any of these to give to mike? free tickets/backstage passes sound pretty damn good to me (let alone the satisfaction of doing something for the man whos done so much for us)

Free tickets and backstage passes don't interest me. It's all hookers and cocaine for me. Until then he gets nothing.
