For your entertainment purposes, here is another old skool Army pic...

Here we are at Camp Pendelton after we parachuted into Bazilone DZ. That DZ is only made for 10 people and we dropped in 150...joy....

This was taken after a 2 week field problem, and we had just finished climbing up Mount Motherfucker and marching back down it all in full gear...needless to say we are fucking beat up!

Here we are at Camp Pendelton after we parachuted into Bazilone DZ. That DZ is only made for 10 people and we dropped in 150...joy....

I talked to a Gunny while I was in Baghdad and he told me the quonsehuts are gone sadly. I remember them fondly...it was part of Camp Pendleton history.
I remember they used those quonsethuts for Clint Eastwood movie, Heartbreak Ridge in Talega area of the base near San Mateo.

And good ole Mount Motherfucker...and Bitch ridge...those bring back alot of memories. Mostly bad....haha. Yup, I am a "Hollywood" Marine... Semper Fi...
