MINDMAZE RELEASE “ONE MORE MOMENT” LYRIC VIDEO

MINDMAZE STREAMING NEW SONG “ABANDON”

This has been coming up on my YouTube feed lately. Not bad stuff.

Too bad the dates with Arkona aren't coming anywhere near me, or I'd check it out.

This is an excellent disc with very impassioned singing and emotional lyrics that deliver more than a few punches to the gut. Then there's the last song that is tremendously uplifting and really gets to me at the end.

The guitar playing stands out especially in the lead work. The bass is very clearly audible and gets plenty of room, and the drummer plays some very innovative and at times unusual fills that take a bit of adjusting to.

The only complaints are that sometimes the fills feel as if they slipped out of time, although possibly this has to do with the production; it feels like there is a skip in the volume during the part at 1:13 of the opening track, and at times the instrument separation is messy and the lead guitars shove the drumwork way in the back.
