Hey guys I did a quick remaster of one of my bands old tracks and was wanted to get some feedback/advice etc. The actual song itself isn't that great imo but I really want to push my production skills and this seems to be the best place for advice and tips

The drums sound too unnatural for me, especially the cymbals.
The cymbals are a tad harsh for my ears too (and mono? might be my speakers too.).
The kick sound is cool though. But in the really fast part it sounds really mechanic.
The snare could use more velocities too.
The bass could be a little louder maybe? Atleast the high end could be.
I like the guitars sound great though. And vocals fit well too.

overall everything sounds good together. Those are quite minor things in the end.

I might not be the best person to give any advice but those are just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply, yeah was a bit lazy with the velocities. Need to try and sort the cymbal issue dunno why they went mono :s i'm pretty pleased with the guitars just used pod farm
