So, in mixing and mastering my bands demo, I've run into this problem. I've A/B'ed the tracks with Machine Head's "Through The Ashes of The Empire", and while it keeps up on my PC and the respective music players just fine, it pales in comparison when played on our other guitarists living room stereo. I've already brickwalled the master to hell and back in an attempt to gain some more loudness on the stereo, but it's still not there apparently.
Any thoughts? I feel like I'm missing something really basic here.
