Mix track for Mastering off of upcoming album

Hey Everyone,

I'm new around these parts but I figured you guys might be interested in a mix track for mastering off my upcoming album for my band Letallis. I wrote/recorded/mixed and mastered all in my bedroom studio, with exception of drums which was programmed by yours truly and vox recorded in a friends home studio (nyc bedrooms can have thin walls which makes screaming a bit awkward)

Here's a list of gear used for the song/album:

Guitar:
Epiphone Les Paul > Line 6 POD 2.0 > Peavey Rage 158 practice amp > Shure SM7B > API 512c (lunchbox model) > T.C. Electronic Impact Twin Interface

Bass:
All D.I.> 512c > T.C. Interface

Drums:
Superior Drummer 2.0 (Standard Kit)

Vox:
Shure SM7B > A compressor which name escapes me (nothing too fancy)

All done in Logic Pro 9. The file is the mix that went for mastering. I'd love to know what you guys think and if anyone would like to take a whack at mastering it. Also to compare to the master I did myself.

like the above post I think it's a good start to the mix, just needs some massaging to get 'perfect.'

- imo, the kick and the high's have to be reigned in a bit.
- and in turn it would afford you more space for the bass to warm things up a bit. Better to address this at the mix with more control..
- The brief 'cleaner' guitar interlude could also be controlled better so as not to be addressed in mastering. As you can hear, as is it'll induce distortion hittin the master limiter or even a dynamics processor.
- So, with the highs there clicks and sharp noises. It becomes more obvious in mastering, clearing out mud or just overall creating clarity.

about -10 rms, not super super loud as with this mix, it seems to suffer goin louder.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Yeah this mix was on the quiet side. I do like the punchier feel of the kick in both masters you guys did.
I just used the regular kick from SD 2.0, so no added samples on top of it.
What type of processing did you guys use on the track? (plug ins/external gear etc.)
