Hi guys, Paolo from Italy here.
I wanted to thank you in some way because I've learned a lot from this forum in the past, but I was more like an "observer" than an active member :)
With The Black Crown, we have released our debut's album in September 2016 and we have just produced our first videoclip, so I tought it would have been a good idea to share with you also the multitrack audio files for the song.
It is called "Flames" and it's taken from the album "Fragments", released in September 2016 and now under Zombie Shark Records, a label from California.
I've personally produced, mixed and mastered the album.

The files are in .aif format so you can use whatever DAW you want.
In the included zipped files you will also find all the technical informations for the song.

So, here there are the dropbox links where you can download the files:

You're welcome and thank you for the mix! The guitar melody of the bridge in the intro was unexpected and it was actually really cool.
I also like a lot the Lead Vox treatment and the Kick. Nice!

Thanks fro uploading. Killer song =]
Drums are superior with added kick sample.
I reamped the bass (also through B7K) with a bit less treble and drive.
Guitars are Redeye 3D Phantom to TS808 to Triple Rectifier to Rectifier 412 to SM57 to API A2D.

Glad you liked the song, and fantastic re-amping/re-mixing of it! Always loved the Rectifier!

Great song! Can't wait to take a shot at mixing this.

Question - is the drum midi working for everyone? When I import it to an instrument track in Pro Tools it's coming up empty. Nothing at all showing in the midi editor.

Can't wait to hear your mix!
Btw, I've downloaded the midi files from the link and Imported in Logic. They work fine for me. That's really strange.

Try right clicking the midi file and select "open with" pro tools. I have my mac set up that midi files open with Logic by default.

Yes, the stock ones. I changed a lot of guitars/pickups in the last years but the RGD2127FX is a keeper. Can I say that I absolutely love it or does it sound too fanboy-ish? :)

I know the guitar itself is great quality and shit, but the stock pickups suck balls big time. At least for me they are giving me a hard time to find a good amp/cab combination. There are some really ugly build ups around 500hz and 700hz and they are lacking of clarity and for my taste the sound a bit out of phase.

At the end its always a matter of taste. I was just wondering if it's the stock pickups or not so please no bad feelings :p

Cool man!
The drums and the vocals are too "dry" and the bass is a bit squeaky from my taste, but it's a cool mix anyway!
Thx. Yes i know. I noticed that he routing of my drums in Kontakt is somewhat fucked up, trying to fix this and have them the way i wanted. Yep the bass was shit i know :).

Instead I take your subjective opinion on a personal level and from now on I will hate you :D
Returning serious for a moment, what do you use for amp/cab? Real one, plugin, kemper, axe fx?
