MLB 2009

And Melvin is finally out. Maybe they're bring in someone who doesn't pick names out of a hat for the lineup every day. Looks like they're going with the desk jockey though. This better be an interim thing... we need a real manager. And now a hitting coach and pitching coach.

what have they been doing to my White Sox this year so far, their offense is unreal.

Yeah... and Hamilton is on the DL right now. It'll be even better once he gets back.
The biggest thing has been our starting pitching.... which has been... respectable? Harrison with his 3rd great game in a row tonight with the 4-hit shut out, and Millwood, Padilla, McCarthy, and Feldman have all been solid. With Anaheim reeling, I actually think we can stay in this thing.
Which is good because the Mavs are done and the Cowboys... well... I can watch them 16 times this year, at least.

The Cubs are my team. I grew up a half hour from Wrigley. I can't not be a Cubs fan. The 101 years thing is overplayed. It's not like there aren't other teams with long enough droughts where a significant amount of fans haven't seen a title. See Cleveland, Houston, Seattle, San Diego, etc. I don't see the point in people bragging about championships they weren't alive to see anyway.

Yes, being from Detroit I love that Cleveland hasn't won anything since long before most of their fans were born. lol

Bobby Jenks was fined for throwing a pitch at Kinsler. The amount of the fine is supposedly a whopping $750.

Yup...not relevant and Seattle will most likely be that again this year. The Yanks (Cook-ta) not only suck-ass in the playoffs but seem to suck-ass in general. It has to and should turn-around for the Yanks?

Nice surprises so far are, Texas, KC and Toronto being very relevant so far. How long these things will last...who knows...probably not long?

My Sox are banged-up and Big Papi has been the Big Poopi so far...he started off as an automatic out and still no HRs. Yet, still a game out for the best record in MLB.
