Technically, not Canadian. Moved from Marengo, Illinois to Camrose, Alberta for two years. Then to Woodstock, Illnois, to Cleveland, Georgia, to Jainesville, Wisconsin, back to Woodstock, Illinois, then to Harvard, Illinois and now residing in Springfield, Illinois...

I cannot create a top 10 as I only have four 2009 releases: Kreator, Obscura, Paradise Lost and Amorphis (and I haven't even listened to the first two much).

After listening to Mastodon's 'Crack The Skye' a couple of times, I can safely say that it was definitely the best album of 2009 IMO.=(
