Hey everybody! So I love the modern guitar tones of Amon Amarth: Deceiver of the Gods, Jomsviking, Berserker, The Great Heathen Army. They all are thick, crunchy, tight and clear all at the same time.
I was wondering if anyone has any information on how Andy got these tones. (I know he didn't do Berserker)
I know they use kemper profiles likely of a boosted EVH 5150/5153 and sometimes blend with 6505. But if anyone knows more specific information: Pickups, Amps, Mics that they used to profile. Please Share! Any new info would be greatly appreciated.
Also any information on Bass or Drum Production would be stellar as well.
