Monitor died.

I was mixing something on my ultra high spec Tascam VL-X5's and I went out of the room to talk to somebody. I was gone for 10-15 mins and when I came back one of them was bust. The power was still on but no sound. I've had them a while(2ish years) but they've only been used like 3 or 4 times. Anybody have any ideas what might be wrong with it?

I dislike it when bad things happen. It is annoying. :zombie:

Does the light come on when you switch it on, or is there no sign of life of any kind? If the latter, check the fuse, replace it, and see if it helps; sometimes fuses go for no reason, so just swapping it might solve your problems, but if you blow another one, time to call Tascam, I'm afraid...

Yeah, the lights were still on but I replaced the fuse anyway. Didn't make a difference though.

Nope. First thing I did was check the cable.

Is there any crackling or any other sound when you wiggle the cable, or pull it out a little?

I just went to check and there was no crackling, but I did notice that when I turned it off it made a loud pop that the other(working) monitor didn't.

Yeah, I will. I just thought I'd check here first to see if anybody had any idea what was up with it.
