Epic.
Deriving their name from the Stanley Kubrick film 2001: A Space Odyssey, MONOLITHE released part one of this journey in 2003. I have not heard that release, but according to the bio, it is a prologue to a saga they are developing with each album, dealing with the origins of man and whatnot. Now, we are presented with part 2, one 50 minute track that ventures through soundscapes at a slow pace. Equally doom, equally PINK FLOYD, this is a nice fuzzy departure from what I've been listening to as of late.
Headphones, headphones, headphones! Do not operate heavy machinery while listening to this cd!!
