Morbid Saint cancels...BLOOD FEAST is the replacement

Well...this is like the 6th band to cancel now this year. Luckily so far it has all been factors out of the festivals hands. Morbid Saint are extending their euro tour so they will not be back in time to play the festival.

Classic death thrashers BLOOD FEAST will be the fill in band. Probably one of the few acts who could replace them perfectly.

Can't say I blame them for wanting to tour more in Europe, but it kinda sucks for the fans out there that were really excited to see them. I saw them at MDF last year and they were fucking stellar. I'd rather see them again, as I've never heard Blood Feast, but it's always nice getting into new bands.

what stinks is that they were the first band booked this year and the flyers just got printed a few days ago.

I have seen the logo many times but never heard em.
Not what I would have expected, based on their name and logo.
I agree, a very suitable replacement sound wise for Morbid Saint.

Lame they couldn't keep their commitment.
As you said, they were booked many months ago.

Seems it would have been in their interest to play a signature midwest date, being from WI, but whatever.

Bunch of jackasses. But i think Blood Feast will draw some more than Morbid Saint fpr the fact that MS played here last year, and Blood Feast hasnt played here since the 80s, if even then.

Well, with Tyrant's Reign, Blood Feast, Viking, and Vindikator (SP??), there certainly is no absence of thrash this year.......
