...Look forward to finally being able to buy Dreamweaver on CD for less than £50!

"Reunited British thrashers SABBAT will release remastered versions of their first two albums — "History of a Time to Come" (1988) and "Dreamweaver" (1989) — sometime next year via Sanctuary. "We've made a small bit of progress on this one," stated guitarist Andy Sneap. "I've been speaking to Sanctuary about reissues, and it looks as though we are doing remastered versions of 'History' and 'Dreamweaver', with a few bonus bits if possible. They (Sanctuary) have the multi-tracks to the first album and the live show in Berlin from the video, so again, possiblities there, and the BBC also has the session we did digitally archived."

As previously reported, a brand new photo of the reunited SABBAT has been posted online at this location.

As BLABBERMOUTH.NET first reported on September 8, SABBAT has reformed to support CRADLE OF FILTH on their upcoming U.K. tour in December. The reunion came about "due to many a conversation with Dani [Filth, CRADLE frontman] and Paul [Allender, COF guitarist] whilst mixing the [new] CRADLE album," SABBAT guitarist-turned-producer Andy "Undie" Sneap told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "It was put to us that they'd love to see it happen (Dani still has his stolen copy of 'Dreamweaver' [1989] on cassette), and the more we've talked about it, it just seemed like opening for CRADLE on these shows would be a great way of getting the five of us together again for a bit of fun. It's not a long-term thing, [and we don't have] any delusions about the future — [it's] just a chance to play some of the old songs and have a blast."

SABBAT 2006 reunion lineup (same as that on 1989's "Dreamweaver"):

Martin Walkyier - Vocals
Andy Sneap - Guitar
Simon Jones - Guitar
Fraser Craske - Bass
Simon Negus - Drums

you lucky Pommie bastards! ;) this kinda news make me want to move my family back to our origins - my wife is UK born and so was my father.

I hope these remasters will be out soon. Then I can finally replace my Russian version of History of a Time to Come and my invisible version (I don't have it) of Dreamwaver.

And everyone on eBay can go eat a dick.

I have Dreamweaver on tape. (I also recently succumbed to getting a copy of my mates cd on CD-R, for convenience  )

I'll probably still look for a copy of Dreamweaver on vinyl. That's the cool thing to do.

No, now I am concerned. I have a number of vinyll editions of classic albums - including Morbid Tales (complete with "Limited Edition Black Vinyll" sticker - guffaw).

Will a hitherto unbeknown amount of people now think I'm cool ? Will beautiful women want to fellate upon my ginger root of power ?
