Not the drug (although that's cool too, wait I've never even had the stuff ), the band.

I'm not really familiar with them, but what I've heard I like, and the concept fuckin' rules: baritone sax, 2-string slide bass, and drums. Plus the singer/bassist dropped dead right on stage. Bands without an electric guitar just don't get any more metal than that!

Great band. It kind of sounds like the sort of thing you'd get in a smoky Jazz club, but without actually being Jazz if that makes sense? Maybe a kind-of sleazy sounding Chris Issacs? Kind of dark, but it has a sheen of "cool" about it...

Lots of "kind-of"s because it's hard to describe, but I'd recommend the album "Like Swimming" highly.

Fun story: My friend's girlfriend had been prescribed this bottle of cough syrup for her sinus infection (I have no fucking idea why they gave her this stuff). My friend is quite versed when it comes to drugs, but one day when he had a cold, he asked his girlfriend for some medicine and she says, "Oh, I have this whole bottle of cough syrup that I got prescribed... but I can't take it because it makes me so tired!". So she gives him the stuff, and he gives me a call... one standard Vicodin has 5 or 7.5mgs of hydrocodone, this stuff had 10mgs per fucking 5ml... and there were 150ml in the bottle. Needless to say, that was a fun Saturday.
