Most beautiful song....

He just wrote good songs.

Completely over-rated though.

And most modern fans aren't real fans.
You know the people that just love him for Folsom Prison Blue and say "e's a ledge" and shit.

Social Distortions version of Ring of Fire is excellent... Johnny is a good songwriter though but others do his song better...

The Opeth & Alice in Chains were good calls - but currently for me,

Sigur Ros Untitled CD (Untitled Track #4)

And I've really been loving the newest God is an Astronaut CD "All Is Violent, All Is Bright" - very good from start to finish.

well, for #1 I must turn back a few hundred years to beethovans (spl?)moonlight sonata. That song is beautiful. As for newer stuff, I like ripe with decay by nine inch nails better than hurt, although I love hurt. morning bell by radiohead is nice too. wings for marie by tool is really good. I adore that song. To top it off, another mainstream generic song I love is bad apple by alice in chains. absolutly wonderful stuff.

Dax Johnson - Still Small Voice
Dax Johnson - Part 1: Zavior Dax
Dax Johnson - Bright Eyes
My Dying Bride - For my Fallen Angel
Nightwish - Creek Mary's Blood
Anathema - The Beloved
Isis - Grinning Mouths
Sigur Ros - Untitled 7
Agalloch - In the Shadow of our Pale Companion

I'd say The Wind Cries Mary has the most beautiful guitar solo

I'd also say that Sweet Child O' Mine is a beautiful song, (I get really into music, if a songs playing in my hand my hands tap out the beat loud. teachers have yelled at me a lot) Anyway, I almost cried the first few times I heard the song, kind of emberassing but I think it's a beautiful song. I think it also could've been from guilt from rejecting my parents before.

I'd add Purple Rain, by Prince (the guitar solo does go on and on but there is a really good part in it)

and Georgia On My Mind, by Ray Charles
