My Dying Bride- The Dreadful Hours. That first song is just sooo intense and draining. It was worth the price just for that track.

Infestdead- Jesusatan. Nothing like starting off an album with blast beats and a crushing riff- no screwing around.

has anyone ever heard arkangel "prayers upon deaf ears" mini cd? .. the intro to that is simply stunning, and the cd that follows is blinding ,,

Err.. I like the beginning of Guns 'N' Roses - Use Your Illusion II

"What we've got here, is a failure to communicate.." etc. and then starts Civil War, and that song ROCKS!

Also Children of Bodom - Hatebreeber is a dynamic album in every way. Beginning with Warheart; Silent Night, Bodom Night; Hatebreeder....
