THIS WEEK ON YOUR CLASSIC METAL SHOW: It's going to be another amazingly busy show this week on THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW. First off, with much fanfare, we'll be bringing you the brand new Motorhead album, KISS OF DEATH, in a New Music Listening Party. The album is an asskicker that showcases the fact that Motorhead has lost nothing after all this time. We just may have the great Lemmy back on the show for a return interview with us as well!
Next up, we're honored to have another legend on the show for the first time. Carmine Appice, who's credits are numerous, will bring his legendary drumming to the table with not one, but two new albums for us to feature. The revitalized Cactus has a new album called V, and he's always done a new album called BAZOOKA featuring himself and the great Pat Travers. We'll do New Music Listening Parties for both albums, and Carmine has committed to giving us a little time on the show. If he's anything like his brother Vinny was, it will be a great interview!
Finally, the single biggest legend in hard rock journalism, Lonn Friend, has called the show and asked for some airtime to talk about his new book, LIFE ON PLANET ROCK. For those of you that remember "The Bible Of Bang" RIP Magazine, you remember that it was Lonn that self propelled many of the biggest bands of the 80s and early 90s with his cutting edge journalism. Bands like Skid Row, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi and Metallica all owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to Lonn. We do too, as Lonn Friend was a huge favorite of both Neeley and Chris throughout the life of RIP Magazine. Lonn will be checking in with the guys for a no-holds barred interview to discuss many of his tremendous stories!
