Mounting .iso video files Xbox360?

Hi.

So I've just been reading up on x360 dock and various other emulators which allow you to play games directly from an .iso file but I don't want it for that reason.

I have all my DVDs ripped to .iso and was just wondering if these devices also allow you to mount .iso video files since the Xbox can't do it natively.

From what I gathered Microsoft has an CD authentication mechanism that does not allow the XBox to run a CD if it does not have the bar code and hologram. At the same time I also believe XBox can not play DVDs so I am sure that authentication mechanism is always on as the OS is expecting an Xbox game. I could be wrong. If I am right, you would need some pretty hefty hardware and software hacks to get it working.

Yeah I've done lots of Googling on it and come up with not a lot. What a pain in the ass, I may just have to batch convert over 1tb of DVDs to .avi!

The Xbox can play standard def and HD DVDs though.
