Movie based on Perfume [the novel]

So they made a movie about the same novel that 'Parfum' is based on, and while I still have to read it, the song makes a little bit more sense now that I've read a plot synopsis of the movie...

Julie an me went to see it last week. For a book that some top directors deemed unfilmable (including Kubrick), Tom Tykwer did an excellent job. Go see it!

Any of you guys read it? Patrick Suskind is an awesome author. I really don't think the movie will end how the novel does.... but if it does... amazing.
