Multiple instances of EZ drummer-help

I'm trying to run two instances of EZ and have 1 with rock kit and the other DFH. Every time I load one kit the other instance loads the same kit. Anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks

Are you fully setting up 2 separate vst instruments and assigning a midi track to each?

If you only have one instrument (vsti) loaded and use it on 2 separate midi tracks you will essentially be just using 2 tracks to 1 instance of EZ.

Yes, using Cubase 4 ,pulling down the vst instrument panel and putting in 2 separate instances. Can't figure it out

Are you using the latest EZDrummer update?
I seem to remember this being a problem with earlier versions..

It could happen.
Say you wanna use the snare and bassdrum from one kit and the rest from another.

you could try copying the rock kits wav's into the DFH folder and renaming them to the same name as other parts of the kit your not using (example if your using the pearl snare rename it to the same name as the ludwig snare in the DFH kit) then load up both VST's and select each kit type. i dont know if it would work and its a little messy but you could try it out

Yes it is legit, I'll try looking for the updates and yes that is why, so I can use the snare and kick from the other kit
