At the Gates is CLASSIC. This tour is a big deal because of them. Municipal Waste is good stuff, but the news of them touring is nothing compared to the mighty AT THE GATES.

Agreed. It's a classic from the band. The n00bs are bands like As I lay Dying and their clones who got the album last week and decided to form a band worshiping them but missing the point of what they were doing altogether.

Why is this tour not hitting anywhere near where I live? That fucking sucks...there better be more dates announced...what a truncated tour that really could be hitting more venues. I mean, three freaking venues in California, but not a single one in the entire Southeastern United States? Who's the mastermind behind this???

SotS is my favorite by them, but the comment is pretty dead-on if you ask any of the genre snobs. They will all tell you SotS is when At The Gates sold out and went commercial, bought their mansions and killed hookers for fun. Something that extreme CAN'T be wrong.

ATG are going to play European festivals right before and after the US dates. I desperately wish they would make another US tour this fall.

But I can't wait to see Death Angel supporting their great new disk!!!!!!!!!!!! They're out with Testament soon...

Darkest Hour isn't the best band ever but they are loads of fun and they've got some catchy tunes.
