But, you and Chromatose's audience are not likely to be appreciative, musically or thematically. So to this I say, VODKA! and gnomes.

yeah these guys are all probably still stuck on stuff like LoD, DoD.

I guess that's the sign of being old. That you get drunk and still show up to work at seven in the morning. Likely because you weren't so much having fun as trying to numb your sense of self-contempt.

wow, you're pretty good at this stuff

So should I purchase The Tiger Lillies and Kronos Quartet's album "The Gorey End," which is based on writings that Edward Gorey sent the Tiger Lillies because he was such a huge fan of their music? It's avant-garde cabaret music with campy, falsetto vocals (and the obvious strings).

same old summer occupation of slave to the local parks and recreation staff

actually work today was pretty cool because nobody else was in the rec centre until about 10am, and there was a drumkit set up in the rec hall from a wedding party the previous night so I got to drum first thing in the morning for about half an hour before I decided that I should probably start doing some actual work.

I've always enjoyed working for parks and rec or my brief sting with the Forest Service. Being around people wasn't so great, but time in nature was welcome. And I never got to indulge drumming, so bonus points there.

It's a decent job, but the boss is a total bitchslut

won't let me take any weekends, but schedules all my weekends to thursdays and fridays instead so that he can put me on weekends without paying me overtime for it. He's a total cunt.

I'm technically classified as a casual worker so he can schedule my 40 hours over 5 days however he likes. In this case, he likes to be a little bitch about it.

I need an answer, mang. Or should I go with the horror jazz of Bohren & der Club of Gore? Alt. country of Lambchop? Raw punk with saxophone of X-Ray Spex? Theatrical, melodramatic folk of Faun Fables? The Avant-Goth Pop of The Tuna Helpers? Classic RIO of Henry Cow? Gypsy Jazz of Tin Hat Trio?

you should just brew up some bitches and shut the hell up

You guys should check out some "This Empty Flow" if you can. Their album "Magenta Skycode" from 1996 was just re-released on Eibon records this year as "The Album" and it seriously makes all this other crap "shoegaze metal" like newer Katatonia and Anathema look like UTTER HOPELESS FOOLS
