I'm going to be making a LibreOffice/OpenOffice document with all the Key/Chords so that they're all in one place for quick reference. Example C Major Scale: I, ii, III .. so on with the chords spelled out.

Would anyone here be interested in a copy of the document? Though I haven't looked, I don't think theres a chart like that ala the Circle of Fifths.

I'll be doing this either way for my benefit so I just thought I share the work when its completed.

hey buddy,

there are plenty of charts like this - but most are in books. here is one for you, scroll down on the page:

his lessons are the best on the web - buy his books too. prob the only guitar books i ever felt were worth a damn.

Yeah, I've seen plenty of charts describing these and other music-related stuff, you just have to look for them.

However, I wouldn't discourage you from making one for yourself, because of the act of keying in those information pieces will help you mnemonically. I do it all the time: if I need to memorize or remember something, I write it down at intervals. Keeps it retrievable in my memory.

Cheers but not quite what I'm looking for.

The format i would be using would be something like
--------------------------------------------------
C-major (C D E F G A B C)
I: C - E - G
ii: D - F - A
III: E - G - B
iv/IV(? - going by memory): F - A - C
V: G - B - D
vi: A - C - E
vii*: B - D - F

and so on for the other scales/keys. I'm using this mainly for four-part writing exercises (Music Theory II). I'll give it a search when I get a chance
