Dir En Grey is too hardcorish for my taste.
As for the others, I haven't quite gotten there yet. But I'm going traversing the whole network of "Related Bands" in Last.fm

Another very cool band I found lately is Lareine.

Case in point: Janne Da Arc

and this is just plain scary... watch out for the murderous drag queens!

However their ridiculousness and musical prowess seem to be co-related.

Well, I don't see it as a "fun fact" as "anime" is a major part in Japanese culture.

And well... the fun fact is that it looks weird only because its not the way we dress or are used to see people dressed as.
