So I might be able to finally go for the first time to the Messe in Frankfurt.
Who's going? And what are you expecting from it?

P.S. If anyone is there on friday 8th, we might catch up for a beer.:kickass:

WTF?
was a bunch of times there(work related) and DEVIN is coming this time???
Fuck...

Edit: oh man, a little lame, signing...
who's into authographs anyway? I wanna hear that dude.

I'm hearing him in a week in Aschaffenburg, then going to the Musikmesse the week after. For once, living near Frankfurt actually has it's advantages. I mean cmon, you guys in Berlin, Hamburg and Köln always have all the fun. ;)

EDIT: I'm not at the Messe, but I'm in Frankfurt on the 8th (uni-related), I just might be up for that beer!

It's actually scary how many bands don't stop here for a gig...:guh:

The damn thing is that I have that 73€ Lidl ticket and it expires in march.
Could get maybe a exhibitioner ticket for a day but the train prices and a hotel or smthg are just too expensive for me at the moment:(

If you have just one single day I would highly recommend you not to chime in @ friday or saturday.
These days suck balls, just kiddies, mommys and huge groups.

On the business days everything is so chilled, enough space and the exhibitioners have way more time to talk and show things...

So, IF you have the chance to go before fri/saturday, DO IT!

Wait -- you can't as a student of audio-engineering during the trade-days? Are you sure?
I have no idea, the list of people who are allowed to go didn't specifically include audio-engineering/music/whatever-students.. but I don't know for sure.
I heard it´s pretty easy to get inside... Should be no problem as a audio-engineering student
Huh, I think I'm gonna call and ask them. Thing is, Frankfurt is really fucking far away from here and I'm not even sure if I find the time for it.

edit:
Trade visitors are classified as:
Wholesale trade/foreign tarde - retail trade/specialist suppliers - industry and craft for music instruments, sheet music and accessories, department store buyers - composers, choirmaster, conductors- music teachers, music lecturers, authors - guest performance and concert agencies, organisers - prof. musicans and music services.
Don't really see me on the list :D
