To all Toronto area fucks....

what does Halford have to do with guitars? call the GUITARISTS gods, nto the singer, when all he does... is sing... you can say "Judas Priest are metal gods" but you cant single one member out. yes, Black Sabbath influenced... they were also the FIRST doom metal band, which spawned many genres from that. What is THE most recognizable riff? Iron Man

Another thing, what the fuck makes you think there would be no metal without sabbath?
This pisses me off, I mean, what makes people think that out of a population of 5 billion people, and 20 years time, that heavy music would not evolve from jimi hendrix, honestly, it's inevitable that another group of people would come together to form heaver music.

And another thing, what makes halford so great is that he has an outstanding voice, granted he probably is not necessarily a metal god, but he contributed heavily to the creation of metal as we know it.

those were my thoughts, I was thinking of people to name....steve harris and ihsahn were 2 I considered, but still couldnt...

and whats this talk about recognition?
did WD contribute to revolutionizing a genre?
yeah...thats what I thought

ahahaha
well, by that logic, linkin park deserves praise

OH YEAH, USED YOUR ANALOGY AGaINST YOU!!!

not really, i never said that they were good singers. i just stated that they are singers, compared with WD, who is a great singer
*destruts the penguin*

he can sing... how about the terds from Linkin Park?
but Halford didnt really REVOLUTIONIZE it with himself... people heard his voice and liked it, thats recognition...

people hear that dudes voice and like it, they hear halfords and like it, do they both deserve props for revolutionizing metal? NO, only one does, HALFORD!

are you implying halford doesnt deserve it?
he contributed to the music, thats what Im saying!!!
therfore he DESERVES the recognition every bit as much as ozzy does, judas priest shaped metal, SEE WHAT IM GETtING AT?!!?

you can't say something like that....halford brought stage presence for the band as well as his lyrics and melodies for the music, without halford, judas priest isnt the same.and thats been proven with the new singer
