MXL 2001 mic comments?

I tried MXL 2001 mic with steelstring acoustic yesterday and I think it sounded awesome and I ordered one. Any comments about the mic itself, I've used AKG c3000 for this before and this sounded much better and the price was just ridiculous, about 1:6 what c3000 costed.

MXL mics aren't horrendous it's just the stupid high end of the freq response. It gets very harsh and brittle towards the upper spectrum, thats why I always scratch my head when I see that people are using cheap MXL 990 mics for cymbols.
