This is for recording,
i have a small budget,

would it be better to get a cheap condenser or a SM58 or Beta 58a.

Cheap condenser ideas are pretty much CAD or AT, MXL seems bad and I dont see how B1 could be good.

the SM and beta are both recorded-with, so here is my sound style

very low vocals and gutterrolls with mixed mids and highs.
gurgling sounds even,

the mic doesnt need to be perfect obviously, so i guess which mic would have the best frequency response for the style I'm looking for? i have preamp and condenser so dont worry about that, just mic pickup ability. thanks

thanks for help if/when someone does XD

i heard good things about the beta but not sure if its recording response would be as good as a lesser priced condenser, i know that a cheap condenser for a pc did better recordings than a dynamic ten times its price, and of course a condenser blew them all away.

the condenser im using for guitar is USB so it wont work for vocals even remotely.
