My angel's eyes
speak of crushing blows
And broken things that cannot mend
I alone have ever held her close
To tears, to my heart
Sitting underneath this emerald brush canopy
Her eyes flooding, pressed against my chest
My eyes are to the sky
Watching all the stars fall like burning arrows
Down to strike the Earth's heart
I hold her tightly
Kissing her head to insure my sinecerity
Her weeping slows as she slumbers off to dreams
My heart's symphony rocking her to sleep
My poor angel
Holding in my fears to help her through hers
If only there could be more for me to do
To help her
And wipe the crystal stars from her eyes
Now difting further in her dreamscape
I hold her to protect her
From what evil may come
Letting her be at rest, at peace for the moment
Even for a moment
How it rips me apart to see her in any way other
So rest now my beauty
And I will take care of him
