So i went and bought 2 SM57s today to give the fredman tech a try.....this is what i got.

Not bad. I'd say abit on the muddy/ dull side. Not anything some EQ and multiband couldn't improve.

The drums are complete shize.
Like the guitar tone a lot though.

A multiband compresor (C4) could be good, between 65hz-280hz.

plus i dont really know anything about a compressor

I think a bit less gain would help with the muddy issue too
