My band Goodbye To Gravity recently filmed a few songs in a photo studio.
Thought I'd share this here. I'd love to hear your opinions.
There will be 6 songs total, I will post them here as soon as they'll be uploaded.
A few words about the production:
everything was recorded through a Korg HD recorder.
Drums
Kick - Roland trigger
Snare - SM57 on top (80% natural, 20% sample)
Toms were recorded in pairs and replaced since we had no 2 extra channels for the floor toms.
Stereo OH's - Behringer B1 condensers
HH & Ride - Audix shotgun condensers
Vox - SM58
Guitars - recorded DI and 'reamped' with Amplitube so we could keep the volume down on the amps
Bass - DI out from TecAmp Black Jag 900 blended with Sansamp RPM and Ashdown LoMenzo Hyperdrive
No autotune or pitch correction was used.
