Joey is mixing our new song currently and we posted a rough mix of the song he did for people to hear. This is slight spam, but I figure its on topic also. I am so stoked on this mix as it annihilates already.

Not sure what all he did details wise, but it rules. I def plan on doing a full-length with Joey as I would love to sit with him and work out structures and ideas together. This is definitely something different for him too which shows he can pretty much bring the pain with anything hahaha.

Cheers dudes!:headbang:

ohhh Odell. i remember to say you 1000 times to re-record "Reaction" and this is awesome. (lots of changes in the song that i really like but i love the original song too).
Vanisher/ZeroSystem continues in my top of favourite bands and you know it.:D

production is really good. actually i listened it in my laptop. i need to listen it tomorrow in my monitors to enjoy it better and to give another opinion.

i suppose you recorded (Odell) all the DI tracks in your studio, correct?

Yeah I tracked everything and sent him the raws and let him do his thing. Everything was tracked through my profire 2626 di wise and synth was done with FM8 synth.

I am amazed that no one picked up on this being a Sturgis mix thus why I posted it on this forum hahahaha. Either that or I am being lame and bumping ooooor both hahahahahahaha its both.

We would love for him to, but he is super busy as are we and the timing just isnt right right now, but we will be doing an album with Sturgis for sure in future.

It's massive! Lovin' the hugeness of the song. Also dig the vocalist's high pitch. Was it double tracked manually, or was a doubler plugin used?

I'm also reminded of why I love Steven Slate Drums so much. XD Drums are super punchy.

The vocals when I tracked them actually had a Primary and then two doubles that could be used for panning left or right or whatever he felt was necessary. Not real sure what he did, but I dig it.

Fuck ya, this is how I track most choruses and any key parts that need it ontop of the normal double tracking stuff. It sooooo useful to have extra tracks to fall back on sometimes.

Yeah dude, now that we are all clean vocals I do it to literally every main vocal line he does. Then I do the harmonies in 2's so I can pan them left and right. I just hate when vocals go straight down the middle all the time. I like some spread going on.

Really good song... Drums sound huge (joeys trademark) what did you guys use to track guitar's (guitar/pick-ups and amp/amp sim)they sound heavy as hell but clean, as you can every note in every chord... Kudo's on tracking with 2626 which I think is second only to a fireface... Do you guys have a full-length written?
