From the cold depths of the Scandinavian Peninsula, Edge of Sanity has returned to deliver another impressive release with their latest epic monstrosity, Crimson II. Forty plus minutes of power thrusting its sound deep into the depths of your ears, taking control over your senses, created a dark feeling sure to frighten you.
An interesting blend of the progressive and Death metal genres, their sounds combines strong growling and clean vocals along with crisp elegant guitar techniques and Rush-type keyboards surrounded by fast paced, melodic drumming, loaded with double bass.
Fans of both the progressive and Death Metal genres should feel the chills I had as I ventured upon this musical journey. Out of the murky shadow, comes something so beautiful, full of melody
