one of my favourite bands, regardless what anyone else thinks of them. A lot of fans think "turn loose the swans" or "the angel and the dark river" are their best but my favourite is "the dreadful hours". a good introduction would also be their 2nd latest album "songs of darkness, words of light"

I often feel perplexed about people's feelings towards SOD,WOD. Personally I think it's a fucking brilliant album with some great lyrics and story telling. Beautifully romantic.

no way, mdb's best sounding album. although the vocals sound the best on alodk.

I think SODWOL features Aarons best vocal performance by FAR. Good record. Only the penultimate track disappoints for me.

But I still reckon it's a long shot off the album that preceded it.

sodwol has the best all round vocals and deffinately the most emotion in his voice and some of the best lyrics, but his clean vocal performance on alodk i just can't get enough of
