castlevania rules so fucking hard. van helstink was a total ripoff of simon belmont! i mean come on!
I've had the following conversation with many people over the past year:
them: "Hey I saw Van Helsing!"
me: "Yeah? Any good?"
them: "Nah."
me: "...not even for the Castlevania fun of it?"
them: "Nope, not even sort of. It was horrid."
Yet I still want to see it for myself.
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest > any other Castlevania, including the ones I never played

well i havent played simon's quest in a few years, so im not so sure about that, but you cant beat the soundtrack from the original. minibosses redid em with guitars and shit and it so totally rocks. as do thier versions of castlevania 2 and 3. http://www.minibosses.com has a few songs up. and soulseek has em all im sure. as well as a bunch of mislabeled ones.
