So I finally got down to putting V10 on my Axe! To be honest, IMHO a couple of the past updates have been sliiigghhtllyyy gimmicky(no hate, I liked all of them eitherway) but this one had me on the first listen! So, I decided to do a quick 30 minute mix to check it out.
No color/post processing on either guitars or bass. Just slight EQ to sit with the drums etc else its just raw Axefx tone and should be a good representation of what V10 can sound like. I think this is the FAS Modern for guitars and the Ampeg for Bass.
My thoughts : It definitely is more ampy than it was earlier and I love the improved dynamic response of the amps to playing more than anything else! You can "feel" the movement of air a lot more now. MIMIC is very cool stuff!
P.S : Excuse the sloppy in parts. Its all played in a jiffy haha
