Sounds pretty cool. Would definitely like to hear some guitars with this. I'm thinking EZDrummer is for me. I'm new to this computer recording thing and DFHS looks like more than I need right now...

So the DFH add-on will be more usable for metal?

sounds great......now did you run your own midi files threw ez drummer or did you use the midi files that come with EZ drummer?

I used cubase's drum editor (midi) and let Ezdrummer process the whole thing

i use the same method as you, it sounds pretty sick. I'm waiting for the expansions because although the rock set is good, it lacks that metal intensity in some extreme passages

You can make it sound pretty metal with a bit of EQ. It can get that sort of more organic, Igor Cavalera quality to it.

Sounds pretty good. I bought the groovemonkee metal pack and it's a great starting point for those that don't like to program their own midi from scratch.

I just wish you could load more cymbals to it, say even just two more (china & another fast crash) and that ride would have a mic/channel too. But I suppose it won't take too much memory to load up a mini-battery kit along with it just for cymbals...
