Hi! I'm new to the forum, it's really the best.

I helped a couple of friends to record a few tunes for their school project.

This is a cover of Cancer Man by War from a Harlots Mouth. I really could use some advice since I'm new to mixing and yeah, I'm out of ideas haha.

To be honest the recording didn't sound good at all. We don't really have alot of good gear, kinda crappy guitars, the drums didn't sound any good.. using my gaming headset (which has a low and high boost) for example.. so bare with me :)

I'm using amplitube (with impulses) for the guitars and bass.
4 guitars recorded, going through a compressed bus.
a duplicated bass track, one with a lowpass and one with a highpass. which is going to a bus with a wide chorus.

for the drums I use steven slate samples on the snare and kick, paralell processed.
No compressor on OH and Hihat, just som EQ.

On the master I use two multi-mono AC1 with the console 1 preset.

Yeah thats it I guess. Let me now what you think, I really could use the help! :)

Make sure you're copying the public link, and also upload a mp3 version for those of us with shitty internet ;)
