i found it very cool...it was my first time...me and my friends booked the studio (for free) just to record some covers and have fun there...it's very exciting to deal with the mixing process and all the other stuff...:)

The only studio by me that I can afford is this crappy little one called the A Room...it runs about $25 USD an hour...and you can only record onto tapes...Once we get more money...we're gonna try to get to a real studio...

You shoud post your recordings on the net so we can all hear them...Thats what I'm doing as soon as I can...

Yes they are. It's especially good when you conceive somthing late at night that you really don't want to forget. Just lay it down and you're set. Hell, I went back on my 4-track after about four of months of omission and I found some really bad ass riffs that I had totally forgotten about. :)

I have stuff from 5 years ago that I listen to and think "wow... that's pretty good, I hope I can figure out how I played it!" and then of course stuff that makes me think "wow, that sucks!"

Home studios are the best, you don't have to be limited by time.
