My iLok just died

Yesterday I couldn't open FG-X or trigger, both licenses are into my iLok1, today this error showed up. I tried re-installing the drivers and iLok software, several usb ports and another computer...my iLok 2 is recognized but iLok1 doesn't sync anymore.

If I pay now for the Zero Downtime, I guess I can have the temporal licences while they make the RMA so I can have the licenses up into my iLok 2.

Anyone had troubles like this before??

It nice to know they give you the "Courtesy" of paying when it was their product that went bad. lol

Yeah, that was the best part, at least I hope they refund the 50 bucks, as it's supposed to still be in warranty...also, they have the courtesy to let me pay the shipping of my faulty iLok from spain to california, wich will maybe rise the total expenses to 100$ or more!

I feel your pain man. I had an ilok 1 since 2002 or 3 and it started fucking up about a month ago. Managed to buy an ilok 2 and transfer everything to it before it really died. It took 3 transfers on the site, but it worked...

You loose your licences, that's why you need them to do the licences recovery. I have a fucking iLok 2, just didn't transfer everything before this shit happened...

As I told Jordi on his Facebook, a friend of mine bought a legit Cubase and the dongle issues were so irritating that he decided to download a cracked version. And it worked better!

I don't know if it's retroactive, I guess it is...but they want me to pay 30$ for the ZDT and a fee of 100$, so they can go fuck themselves.
