My latest mix [Maiden-ish, no vocals]

A friend of mine wrote and recorded this at the studio the other day and I had a chance to mix it. I personally think it's my best metal work so far. All drums are programmed. Guitars are the cleanest, crispest results I've ever gotten. It's a mesa dual rec into an avatar cab, mic'd with a 414 and blended with the DI's that I processed with LeGion Amp Sim. Turned out pretty damn good. I'd appreciate some opinions, Thanks!!!

hello friend, I liked the song, perhaps find the guitar a bit buried in the mix for the sound of drums, the drums sounds like MIDI, but the truth is, I would go up the guitars a bit more!

okay cool thanks man! I wasn't expecting that but i'll def take it into consideration. As for the drums, I did do a lot with the velocities but I was asked not to overdo it because he likes that mechanical sound which is weird because he's normally a drummer.

The kick is very loud. I'd turn that one down for starters.
