I gave that a spin this week for the first time in ages - to the casual listener it might sound totally laughable; at times the drums sound like some school kid has tried to play along to a sloppy guitar guide on headphones... and yet everything fuses into place with a healthy dose of morbid Varathron-esque riffery, to make for a really interesting listen.

My favourite riff is the slidey one in War Must Go On - it's a stroke of genius!

It was very rare for the past while, considering when it was released I figured it'd be an easy buy on ebay but instead sold for well over $100 and it wasn't available at Xtreem's shop. Suddenly it is once again, so they must have recently done another pressing of it. I got mine for even less than you did, this and the KRODA cost me $13 CAN with shipping. I think the DEMIGOD was $8, KRODA was $5 (free shipping).

No, I dig them, I don't mind folky stuff so long as it's similar to NOKTURNAL MORTUM, TEMNOZOR and UR FALC'H and not like... I dunno, FINNTROLL. But yes, I'm also very curious about the BRANIKALD cover.

Certainly does the song justice in my opinion, it's a pretty interesting folksier take on the original A Stormride.
