I just met with Wintherr from swiss black metal band Paysage d'hiver. Very nice guy... I bought his first CD-R "Steineiche" and it really rules. Raw, epic and monotonous black metal with awesome lyrics. I also bought his split LP with Vinterriket (awesome, awesome stuff) and the "Wurzelgeister" double LP sampler. It contains unreleased songs of various german black metal bands (for example the last song the mighty NAGELFAR ever recorded!).

No blastbeats, but folk instruments abound... At least the two songs I've heard. It's good, but is it as good as the earlier stuff? Not convinced.
