Yeah, it's funny to title a thread "new Amp" while it's not even close to an amp in my definition 
But you know ... sex sells, so do amps and other equipment on this board.
I got a Line6 Pocket Pod for my birthday (in fact, I had to buy it myself - poor little me *hehe*). The tiny red bean is definitly the best practise-amp, I've ever had. It's not loud (how should it be loud - I can only play with headphones), it's small and it's sounds are definitly better than my Roland Microcube.
The factory-presets are a bit dull, though. But I guess that's only the presets. I haven't had the time to tweak the little sucker. The effects and cleantones are pretty good btw.
This guy managed to get some pretty "good" sounds out of it.

If your looking for a super-portable practice-amp ... go for it.
