First of all.. Happy new year :kickass:

Want to show you my brand new Customshop Framus Camarillo.
Arrived today and made me feel like a little boy being the first time in a toys 'R' us-Store. :zombie:

She/it ;-) has a Nirvanablack-Oilfinish,
Seymour Duncan Sh-2 (neck) & SD Invader (bridge) Pickups,
Schaller locking tuner, black hardware, no inlays (just a nameplate).

Hope you like it.

Thanks a lot :)
Made this picture at work with my webcam. A good friend of me makes a little photosession in 2-3 weeks.
Maybe I can get my dads cam to do a few quick photos. :)

My bandmate got the same on in highgloss white with black hardware.
Looks killer, too.

@egan. Is it a problem to get Framus-Guitars in the US? They're part of Warwick, so I think it wouldn't.

Cheers, Hogan.

White with black hardware = Godly... My favorite combo. I wasn't aware of the awesomeness of Framus guitars until you posted this and I checked their website! BTW I like how you have your name on the fretboard because it would make things harder for some bastard to steal :heh:

Did a few shots with my dads cam...
Btw...to tell you the truth...the nameplate is more for swanking (right word for "angeben"?!). :heh:

If you have the chance to test a Framus...go for it. They're polarizing a lot. One likes it or not. Nothing between.
In the past I liked my SG's neck a lot more, 'cause it's better suited for my little fingers. But with time I got used to the Framus neck.
The big plus of these guitars are, is that they're totally fail-safe. No problems except a broken String in 8 years. :headbang:

A half year ago I visited the Framus/Warwick-Factory, which made me even more addicted to this company. Nice people who love what they do, top notch technology (f.e. PLEK Setup) and very solid work.

Enough gushing for today...

Cheers, Hogan

I'm not a fan of the headstock, but I LOVE everything else (especially the satin black flame DAMN)

It's funny that describes peoples feelings about warwick basses too. Big baseball bat necks that you either love or hate.

Looks great. Really seems to have that Warwick look and neck type (which I personally like a lot). +1 on the woods used.
Back of the neck definitely looks great and exotic. Not a big fan of the Invader pick up btw, but maybe it works well in this guitar. Clips?

Their Customshop is not like ESP f.e. where you can build every shape.
They build every shape for you they've ever done, but no customshape. The rest is 95% custom.

Wood is standard. SwampAsh-Body with AAA-Maple-Top. I'm used to this combination. Was a sissy who don't want to experiments.

Regular price is 2850 € / 3964 $. Got it a bit cheaper because of my B-Endorsement. But it was enough to hurt my wallet.

@ mr.L.
The neckwood is called Ovangkol. The same wood they use on the Warwicks.
If you ever played an uncoated neck, you won't go back.

Yeah, the Invader...only works on my Framus for me. Put it testwise in my SG and my old LTD Viper. Total crap. Way to boomy for a mahagony guitar.
The Framus is very bright sounding, so it fits nice.
Though its a highoutput pickup it works 'cause I turned it away from the strings.

Don't have nice clips to show you the character of the guitar. Sorry.

Cheers, Hogan.

great pics and congrats about your guitar!
it looks really killer!!!!!!!

i have a warwick bass with the same ovangkol neck, and a "wenge" fingerboard, and it feels absolutly great!
when i play the bass, and after that i change to my esp eclipse, it feels like a plastic guitar for children ;)

i never had the chance to play a framus, but i´m sure they play great, every month, i see their commercials in guitar&bass, and they always have very stylish instruments..though i never had GAS for them (so far).

cheers
