Awesome guitar, but, Ibanez? Star? WTF?

Yup, Ibanez ripped off a few Charvel shapes back in the 80's. I think these guitars are quite sought after, since they're not made anymore. The pickups in these are also supposed to be very good, according to what I've heard.

Interesting, I've seen Ibanez flying V's and explorers, but this is the first Star shape I've seen. From the pic, it looks brand new too!

hmm.... i have no interest in odd-shaped guitars, but I have played a Dean Phantom XT before and almost bought it for the sound. Funny how some krazy looking guitar usually sounds better than the regular one.

Has anyone seen the Ibanez Icaman(?), its an explorer copy. I saw a Ibanez Rhoads copy on ebay, a very rare guitar. ESP now do star copies, Roope Latvala just got picked up by ESP, and he ordered a Star, they make sharper ones though.
