Yeah, I have been completely obsessed with 2012, polar shifts and so forth. I just came across this article/forum/book review, and I posted it on Nevermores forum.

Now this is just one of many people writting about that content. I just got a crazy book that has again scared the hell outta me, and is now some sorce for the lyrical inspiration for our next album.

The book i got was called

Apocalypse 2012 : A scientific innvestigation into civilations end
by Lawrence E. Joseph

buy it if you are looking for a good end of the world read.

Now the website/forum I just came across is

You all decide what you think, but, by all means ...discuss!

Dan already knows my thoughts on this topic... but for those of you that don't:

boooooooooooooring!

if the world is ending in 2012, then why are we doing what we're doing?

has again scared the hell outta me,

Dan, you scare the hell out of yourself every time you wake up and look in the mirror dude! You are obsessing over crackpot dudes (same with some of your politically misguided tirades! LOL). So quit looking at yerself in the mirror and you won't scare yourself so much.....!

if it happens and we meet in the afterlife (if there is such a thing) you can then tell me "I told you so!" Until then, just live yer life!

Oh my GOD! The Sky IS FALLING!! THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!......oh wait, it's just snow!

Hey, I am going by factual evidence, the shit is like metalages said "creey" to say the least.

I think I am detecting a bout of denial. None the less, if it is true, I suppose there is nothing we as a civialization (never mind a buch of derilics at fucking metal forum lol) can do about it.

Just think of the unimaginable horror that would befall us all? I have a newborn, and the thought of something happening to her where I could do nothing to protect her, is very frightening!!!! Seeing you parents loved ones go down, would be unimaginable!

But you know, if anything is going to cause the end of the world... it was definitely this rule-breakage that ripped space/time a new asshole:

Seeing you parents loved ones go down, would be unimaginable!
Yes, it is "unimaginable". But it happens quite frequently. The older you get (I'm older than you guys), the more loved ones you lose. I've lost my mother, father, one of my brothers, spouse, a myriad of aunts and uncles...you know, it just happens.
(no wonder I'm a 'doomster' :p )
There is nothing anyone can do about it, so remember to live each day to its fullest and experience as much as possible. And love up on Winter!!! Always remember the great times. ;)

Geez...I think I was just optimistic! Very odd, that. :erk:

that is very true, and I agree 100%, there is nothing wrong with optimism, I know we all need some from time to time.

Sound like you have had a hard live, My condolances Strig!

Cheer up!!! At least we have the SOB forum to make you laugh from time to time!

Yay! Someone closer to my age to keep these welps in line! LOL

I had a banner year last year, lost my mom, put my cat down, my buddy dies in December, my girlfriends father passes away and a co-worker I knew died as well...just f-n great past year.....
